The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at our Acacia Ridge facility. In this dynamic role, you will work on innovative projects, contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes, and play a key role in maintaining the high standards that define Absco Industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of new products and manufacturing systems.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of the patented SNAPTiTE assembly system.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and council documentation requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support manufacturing processes.
About You:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools is an advantage.
