Acquire Strategic Accounting is a growing, client-focused accounting firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice and building genuine, long-term client relationships

With a team of 10+ professionals and a diverse client base including SMEs, trades, high-net-worth individuals, and SMSFs, we are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Tax Accountant to join our team

This role works closely with our Tax Manager and provides exposure to all areas of public practice — no two days are the same

About the Role:

As part of our professional and supportive team, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and taxation services, including:

• Preparation of individual, company, trust, and SMSF tax return

• BAS and IAS preparation and lodgements

• Tax planning and advisory services

• Business structuring and new entity set-ups

• Client meetings and relationship management

• Working across multiple accounting systems and platforms

• End-to-end management of client portfolioss

This is a hands-on role offering strong technical exposure, with future opportunities for mentoring and leadership for the right candidate

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Ideally, you will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in public practice

• CA or CPA qualification (preferred)

• Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge

• Experience with Xero, XPM, BGL, Karbon, MYOB, and QuickBooks

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A strong client-focused mindset

• Ability to work well within a close-knit team

What We Offer:

• Salary package of $75,000 – $95,000 + super (based on experience)
