Business Development Manager

  • $80,000 base + super + commission
  • Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 from home
  • Sydney-based

Are you a motivated sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building trusted relationships, and helping clients achieve real results through innovative technology?

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading Australian SaaS company supporting clients with innovative tools to simplify property-related operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your sales career with a company that’s as ambitious as you are.

About the Role

You’ll be joining a high-performing, collaborative sales team, driving new business across the legal and property sectors. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and securing new clients through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and growth objectives
  • Developing tailored solutions that deliver measurable client outcomes
  • Providing post-sale support and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction

This is a hunter-style role — ideal for someone who’s passionate about generating new opportunities, confident in cold calling, and skilled at turning conversations into partnerships.

What We’re Looking For

  • ~3+ years’ experience in sales or business development (ideally within SaaS, tech, or professional services)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A client-first mindset and ability to build trust quickly
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable liaising with diverse professional services clients in complex sectors to drive results
  • Current driver’s licence
