With a market-leading position in Australia and New Zealand — and growing international ambitions — we’re expanding fast and looking for a Software Development Technical Lead to join our head office team in Perth.

The Role

This is a hands-on, in-office technical leadership role reporting to the Senior Development Manager. You’ll lead a team working across our full technology stack — from cloud dashboards to mobile apps.

You will:

• Take end-to-end technical ownership of features across APIs and frontend UIs
• Shape architectural decisions, review code, and provide mentorship support
• Contribute directly to production code and help deliver reliable, scalable systems used daily by customers

As a hands-on management position, you’ll lead from the front, help solve real problems, and stay close to the code.

• Frontend: Vue.js
• DevOps & Infra: AWS Greengrass

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to our in-house development team
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable systems across the full stack
• Conduct code reviews and drive engineering best practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Collaborate closely with hardware, product, and operations teams
• Own the successful delivery of software aligned with customer and business outcomes

About You

• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or senior developer role — formal title not essential
• Hands-on experience with backend and frontend
• Familiarity with our tech stack
• Able to design software architecture, lead projects, and ship high-quality code
• Comfortable working across the full stack
• Excellent communicator who can align technical output with product direction
• Must have full Australian work rights, PR or citizenship.
• This is a fully in-office role based in Perth, WA
