We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer for a contract engagement to lead the technical delivery and certification of civil infrastructure projects; 482 Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate. This role is responsible for ensuring all engineering works comply with Queensland’s statutory standards and project specifications.

📋 Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Act as the RPEQ Lead for the certification of civil infrastructure designs.
- Design & Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from small-scale safety upgrades to major intersection and road developments.
- Certification & Compliance: Ensure all designs achieve maximum value for money while maintaining strict adherence to Queensland engineering standards and the Professional Engineers Act 2002.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare and review essential technical reports, including Design Development and seal/pavement designs.
- Software Excellence: Utilise industry-standard workflows in 12d Model or OpenRoads to ensure seamless design integration.
- Mentorship: Provide direct technical supervision and guidance to design staff throughout the concept and detailed design phases.
✅ Mandatory Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Qualification: Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering (Washington Accord accredited).
- RPEQ Status: Current registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is essential.
- Experience: Proven experience at a senior level in civil design, ideally with exposure to government infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of local and state engineering standards, including road planning and design manuals.
