What is in it for you? · 12-month contract with strong potential for extensions · Open to ACT or QLD with hybrid working arrangement · Opportunity to work on cutting-edge hybrid storage and backup environments across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, M365) · Play a key role in securing and optimising enterprise data systems that support critical public services What we need from you / What our client requires · Extensive experience managing enterprise-level storage systems (SAN, NAS, DAS), with proven expertise in NetApp storage administration · Strong understanding of data security, encryption, access control, and compliance frameworks · Proven ability to troubleshoot complex backup, storage, and data recovery issues in enterprise environments · Strong proficiency with CommVault or similar enterprise backup platforms (Veeam, Rubrik, AWS Backup, Azure Recovery Services) We are seeking a highly skilled Senior NetApp & CommVault Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's enterprise storage and backup infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient storage and backup solutions that ensure business-critical data is always protected, recoverable, and compliant with relevant standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams, taking ownership of the full lifecycle of data storage and recovery operations, from architecture and disaster recovery planning to performance tuning, automation, and optimisation. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining business continuity and strengthening the organisation's operational resilience. Key Requirements · Design and implement enterprise storage and backup solutions across on-prem and cloud environments · Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage or backup failures to minimise downtime and data loss · Monitor and optimise performance, capacity, and reliability of storage and backup systems · Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, configurations, and recovery procedures · Develop, execute, and maintain backup policies and procedures; monitor backup jobs daily for success/failure; optimize schedules and methods for efficiency. · Create and update disaster recovery plans; conduct periodic backup recovery tests and drills to verify successful data recovery within RPO/RTO targets.
