They’re looking for a Senior Associate Family Lawyer with 5+ years’ experience who can immediately take carriage of parenting and property matters and contribute meaningfully on contested litigation files. You’ll be dealing with matters that involve real assets, real complexity, and clients who expect clear advice and confident advocacy. This is not a narrow or sheltered role – you’re expected to be comfortable across both parenting and property, to run matters independently, and to manage emotionally charged situations with calm and sound judgment.

The firm offers a 5-hour daily billable target that makes work-life balance more than a slogan, along with excellent remuneration (around $160k including super, with flexibility for the right person) and additional paid leave between Christmas and New Year. You’ll be supported to build your own client base, with ongoing enquiries already in place, and you’ll be trusted to practice law without being micromanaged.
