Finance Manager
Job Description
Posted on: October 25, 2025
A global, care-based clinics group is recruiting a Finance Manager to support a key phase of growth, acquisition and integration.
As the organisation scales, they are looking for a Finance Manager who thrives on variety, enjoys collaborating with commercial and operational stakeholders, and wants to be a trusted voice at the leadership table — not just a producer of reports.
This is a role where your technical foundations, commercial acumen and ability to influence will hold equal weight. You will take full ownership of the month-end process while playing a critical role in delivering insights that shape strategic decisions.
Success in this position requires strength across both technical accounting and management accounting, with the ability to identify performance drivers, explain the ‘why’ behind the numbers and translate financials into meaningful, business-focused outcomes. You’ll partner closely with operational teams, senior leaders and the SLT — informing strategy and supporting ongoing post-acquisition integration.
Duties include:
- Month-end ownership – managing P&L
- Preparing monthly performance insights, variance analysis and KPI dashboards for SLT and operational teams.
- Statutory compliance ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Overseeing BAS, FBT and related tax compliance requirements.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Identifying trends, unpacking business drivers and providing actionable recommendations.
- Working closely with Operations, SLT and cross-functional leaders to support decision-making and improve financial outcomes.
- Assisting with onboarding financial processes, systems and reporting for newly entities.
- Continuous improvement – driving efficiency, process optimisation and reporting enhancements
About you:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Trained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm essential
- Minimum 4+ years commercial experience post professional services training
- Confident partnering with non-finance stakeholders and SLT
- Advanced Excel skills (Power BI highly regarded)
- Exposure to multi-entity environments, acquisitions or integrations a plus
- Someone who thrives in a future-focused, evolving environment
What’s on offer:
- Flexible working arrangements, including two days from home
- Health & wellness allowance to support your wellbeing
- Discount on private health insurance
