About the role 

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Rigid Packed Truck Driver who values safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic to become part of our team at the Rutherford Depot on dayshift. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering packed goods, bulk drums (205L) and IBC’s including some pump in’s safely, efficiently, and sustainably across our region.  This will also include unloading and loading packed goods to service stations.



Must haves  

  • Commitment to Ampol’s values  

  • A minimum HR licence  

  • Strong communication (verbal, written and presentation) with persuasive ability to influence change.  

  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.  

  • Safety focussed.  

  • A current forklift license is a desirable or must be willing to obtain a forklift licence

  • Proficient in operating Electronic Work Diary (EWD) systems via in-vehicle Truck PC technology



Nice to haves:  

  • Fuel transport industry experience  

  • Current DG licence  

  • Current SLP licence  

  • Operational knowledge of relevant laws and statutes applying to the transport of petroleum products including OH&S, Environmental, Dangerous Goods and Transportation rules and regulations.
