Role Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and professional Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting Workforce Australia staff by offering expert guidance, timely feedback, and ensuring best practices are upheld across all administration related activities. Your contributions will ensure both operational excellence and contractual compliance in line with internal and external standards.
The Role
As a Business Support officer you will be, processing expenditures for prompt payment whilst adhering to stringent documentary evidence requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy of documentary evidence specifically ,invoices & receipts whilst interpreting and adhering to compliance when processing
- Prior experience in accounts, debtors, creditors & business administration
- Provide support, guidance and feedback to internal staff on purchasing guidelines
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support continual improvement
- Basic knowledge of GST and ATO requirements regarding records
- Experience working within the WFA Employment Services sector
- A strong commitment to accuracy, quality assurance, and data integrity across all work undertaken.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the capacity to meet competing deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to task execution.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to work varied hours during peak operational periods, as required.
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- A MyID (Standard level)
- Willing to complete a National Police Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
