Apoyo Health Services is looking for casual disability support workers, psychosocial recovery coaches, counsellors and social workers.
The company provides a wide range of services to individuals with a disability and their families.
We provide services across the greater Hobart area.

The Role(s);
To be a successful candidate you need to be passionate about helping others maintain their quality of life.
Your duties will differ according to the needs of the participants, however may include but not limited too:
* Assist with daily living, domestic tasks, and meal preparation.
* Support the development of independence skills.
* Facilitate community access for appointments, outings, and leisure.
* Enhance capacity in transportation, and social interactions.
* Guide participants in achieving their goals.
* Follow procedures, including data compilation and report writing.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records of participant interactions and services provided.
* Connecting and linking people into the community with local activities and recreational interests.
* Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet.
Ideally you will have:
* Mental health qualification (i.e., Bachelor of Psychology, Diploma of counselling, cert iv mental health or similar.)
* Experience assisting individuals with disability
* Proven ability to work positively with people with a disability to achieve their goals
* Experience with behaviour management and intervention.
* Ability to follow and implement individual program plans
* Demonstrated ability to implement a person-centred approach
* Excellent documentation skills particularly case reports, progress summaries and incident reporting
* Ability to work flexible hours including morning, evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Reliable, proactive and confident in working with people with disabilities
Current or willing to obtain:
* Working With Vulnerable People card
* Police Check issued within the last 6 months
This position(s) are on a casual basis, working across a variety of shifts.
