Senior Valuation Adviser

We are seeking performance-driven and skilled professionals with tax technical and/or valuation skills to join our Private Wealth and Public Groups business lines within the Client Engagement Group.

As a Senior Valuation Adviser (EL 1) in our Valuation Practice stream, you will deliver tax technical and policy advice to internal and external clients on valuation matters arising under the tax and superannuation laws.

As a Senior Valuation Adviser (EL 1) in our Valuation Advisory stream, you will apply your knowledge in valuing real property, plant and equipment, and/or businesses and intangibles across diverse markets to support technical and policy advice on tax and superannuation-related valuation matters for internal and external clients.

You will identify and provide advice on complex and systemic technical valuation issues, focusing on transactions where taxation or superannuation outcomes are contingent on a valuation. You will also support complex valuation activities, having regard to broad legal and financial analysis, and research in Australian and International tax law contexts.

You will identify, monitor and address emerging tax risks and tax planning techniques, and assist with reviewing complex structures and transactions relevant to valuation matters. Working both independently and collaboratively, you’ll lead and mentor others, review their work, and build team capability.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Box Hill (VIC), Dandenong, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne CBD or Moonee Ponds.
