KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Provide technical support for the HospitalPerform requested technical jobs within the HospitalIdentify and control risk in the technical environment within the HospitalCoordinate/manage work done by on-site contractors within the HospitalPerform office administration duties within the Technical DepartmentBuild and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within the Technical Department Required Education ESSENTIAL EDUCATION NQF 6 Diploma in Electrical Engineering: light current or clinical engineering DESIRED EDUCATION NQF 6 Diploma in Clinical Engineering Essential Certification Valid Driver's licence with own reliable transport DESIRED CERTIFICATION Registration with CEASA Required Experience ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 2-years’ Postgraduate Clinical Engineering experience within the healthcare industry Desired Experience 3-years’ Postgraduate Clinical Engineering experience within the healthcare industry Required Job Skills And Knowledge Occupational Health and Safety ActInfection controlMicrosoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Planned maintenance procedures (Medical equipment and X-ray)SAP and utilisation of SAP reportsFinancial principles (cost-effective maintenance)Mediclinic Policies and Procedures (e.g. utilisation of test equipment) All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
