Estimator

Responsibilities Monadelphous are seeking an experienced Estimator/Planner to join the Newcastle Operations team based on site, Monday to Friday on a permanent basis. Some key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and submit quotes and tenders for both fixed price and schedule of rates contracts.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather necessary inputs for accurate pricing and scope definition.
• Support the team in planning awarded works, including scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to develop work plans and ensure readiness for execution. What you will bring:
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical/ Civil) OR Trade qualifications in a related area (desired)
• Relevant on-site industry experience in the resources, engineering or construction industry.
• Proven experience providing detailed tender stage level works methodology for submissions
• Proficiency in tendering, structural, mechanical, fabrication, building maintenance.
• The ability to use and produce schedules, Gantt charts (Microsoft project)
• The ability to complete all aspects of tender request documentation.
• A methodical approach including good time management, detail oriented, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
