About The Position Elegance is back in the beautiful Marble Bar on Level 1 at Wests New Lambton. Chic, yet relaxed and friendly, the Marble Bar offers everything from a superb range of local and French wines to delicious cocktails. In terms of food, Wests New Lambton Restaurants are home to dining options including Chophouse Grill, Emerald Gardens as well as Breakfast on the Terrace.

  • Chophouse Grill - For those big, meaty American flavours cooked to perfection, dine at Chophouse Grill.
  • Emerald Gardens - Wander through the beautiful brass gates and discover a world of authentic Asian cuisine.

Duties For This Role Include But Not Limited To

  • Provide friendly customer service
  • Preparation and service of cocktails and other alcoholic beverages
  • Cleaning of workstation and equipment
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Operation of tills and cash handling
  • Collect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaning
  • Assist is the preparation of our cocktail menu
  • Waiting tables
  • Provide meal recommendations
  • Carrying multiple plates

This position will require availability on Friday nights and weekends, with reasonable availability Monday to Thursday. As this position is key during peak periods for our venues, shifts are rostered from the evening through to early hours of the morning. Certifications required: RSA As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role. This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal. All associated checks and costs will be facilitated by The Wests Group.
