About The Team Joining the Development team at ARTC means being part of a dynamic group focused on growing the business and enhancing our overall commercial performance. About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and strategic National Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality facilities management across a diverse and geographically dispersed portfolio, including corporate offices, network control centres, and provisioning centres throughout Australia. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is responsible for the full lifecycle of facilities and property management — from lease and licence administration through to maintenance, compliance, and long-term accommodation planning. You will ensure ARTC’s sites are operated safely, efficiently, and within budget and time expectations. In addition to operational excellence, the role offers the opportunity to take a business development focus — identifying and implementing revenue-generating opportunities, unlocking value across the property portfolio, and driving continuous business improvements. Your strategic insight will contribute to ARTC’s broader commercial objectives by enhancing the performance and future readiness of our facilities network. Responsibilities Include Lead the provision and maintenance of ARTC’s national facilities and accommodation assets Administer lease and licence agreements, ensuring full compliance and value delivery Drive improvements in maintenance practices, exploring outsourcing opportunities and new technologies Champion sustainable and efficient operations Lead front-of-house functions to deliver consistent, high-quality service across all locations Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align operational needs with strategic goals Take a hands-on approach to resolving day-to-day issues while guiding the implementation of ARTC’s long-term Accommodation Strategy What do we want from you? Tertiary or Diploma level qualification in property or facilities management and/or equivalent experience Knowledge of and experience in facilities management Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary tasks involving a high degree of interaction with a diverse range of property projects Demonstrated understanding of the relevant legislation and processes around leasing arrangements Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of market trends in the general property field Ability to work independently and to achieve goals within specified time constraints Demonstrated negotiation, influencing, problem resolution and interpersonal skills particularly with external parties and the public Demonstrated experience with the ongoing review of internal work procedures and an acceptance and implementation of change management in the workplace What will you get from us?
