Our Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our NEPEAN Power team. This role is based in Thornton and offers the chance to further your career in a diverse and growing business. Full training, support and on‑the‑job development will be provided Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Management of suppliers and purchase orders, including negotiating pricing to ensure targets are met.
• Ensuring expedited orders are timely and incoming stock is received in accordance with requested goods, services, and company procedures.
• Assisting with dispatch of outward goods and inter‑branch transfers using approved freight providers and processes.
• Liaising with suppliers and customers to deliver outstanding service and timely order processing.
• Performing cost analysis to support purchasing and operational decisions.
• Organising contractors and maintaining accurate documentation in line with QA requirements.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administration or support role within an electrical, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
• High attention to detail, strong numeracy skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
