Receptionist — SJ PowerLocation: Morisset, NSW | On-site Employment Type: Full-time About SJ Power SJ Power is a locally owned electrical and solar installation company based in Morisset on the Central Coast of NSW. We specialise in solar panel system design and installation, battery storage solutions, EV charger installations, and general electrical work for both residential and commercial customers. Servicing the Central Coast, Newcastle, and surrounding regions, we've built a strong reputation for honest advice, quality craftsmanship, and genuine care for our customers' long-term outcomes. Our team is growing, and we need the right person to help keep our front of house running seamlessly. About The Role As our Receptionist, you'll be the first voice and face of SJ Power. This is more than just answering phones — you'll be at the centre of our daily operations, supporting our office team while ensuring every customer interaction reflects the high standard we're known for. You'll bring warmth, professionalism, and a knack for keeping things organised in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities
- Answering, screening, and directing incoming phone calls and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Welcoming customers, suppliers, and visitors to our Morisset office
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments, site visits, and installation bookings
- Managing team calendars and assisting with job allocation and logistics
- Performing general administrative duties including data entry, filing, document preparation, and maintaining records
- Maintaining office supplies, keeping the reception and common areas tidy and presentable
- Assisting with follow-up calls and customer satisfaction check-ins
- Supporting the broader team with ad hoc tasks as the business continues to grow
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or office administration role (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A warm, professional phone manner and strong customer service instincts
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- Solid computer skills and comfort learning new systems such as CRM or job management software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and scheduling
- A team player who takes initiative and is happy to pitch in where needed
- Reliable, punctual, and presented in a professional manner
Bonus (Not Essential)
- Experience in the trades, construction, or renewable energy industry
- Familiarity with job management platforms (e.g. Simpro, CRM's, or similar)
- An interest in solar energy and sustainability
