Student Recruitment Officer

In This Role You Will

• Deliver targeted recruitment strategies to high schools and community organisations.
• Plan and coordinate engagement events on our campuses, including Wollotuka.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while championing education and engagement within Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities. This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus on Awabakal land. How will you inspire us?

Qualifications

• Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification authorised under Section 14 of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
• A degree and subsequent experience in a relevant field, or extensive experience and specialist expertise in an administrative field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
• Demonstrated experience in student recruitment and capacity to contribute to the development of marketing plans to recruit students.
• High level communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate with a broad range of people, including engaging with primary and secondary schools and communicating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
• Ability to generate a strong sense of team spirit, co-operation and collaboration within and across teams.
