As Village Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of this contemporary village located at Bonnells Bay. Your role is pivotal in ensuring everything runs smoothly, from maintaining exceptional amenities to fostering a culture of care and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with residents, staff, and service providers to maintain high standards and respond to the evolving needs of the village. • Connect as One Team: Foster a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel at home and supported. You’ll be the go-to person for both residents and staff, ensuring everyone’s needs are met with a smile
• Realise the Opportunities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the village, including overseeing maintenance, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Additionally, attend and take minutes during the quarterly advisory board meetings
• Make Room for Kindness: Be the friendly face that listens to concerns, solves problems, and makes sure our residents are happy, healthy, and thriving
• Find the Fun: Plan and oversee a variety of engaging activities, from themed dinners and movie nights to gardening clubs and fitness classes. Creativity and fun are your middle names!
• Lead with Heart: Lead a passionate team of staff who share your commitment to creating an exceptional living experience for our residents.

Who You Are:

• Experience in roles focused on community connection and engagement would be highly regarded
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
• Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial reporting, is highly desirable and would be a valuable asset in this role
• Proven experience in asset management, ideally within property, facilities, or retirement living
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to resident wellbeing
• Experienced in operational management, with strong organisational, consultative and negotiation skills
• Have excellent computer skills (confident with the use of Microsoft Office Suite and various online applications)
• Resilient and a problem-solver who can think on your feet and handle challenges with grace
• Customer-centric, always putting the needs and satisfaction of residents first
• A people person with a genuine love for working with seniors
• Compassionate, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of independent living seniors

The successful candidate will also have or be willing to complete their First Aid, CPR Certificates and driver's license with own transport. Ready to Join the Fun?
