We’re expanding our presence in the data centre space and are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of high-value, construction-specific projects—onsite with a key client in a live, complex environment.

You’ll be employed by BGIS but work closely with a top-tier client onsite, managing the delivery of construction projects in a live data centre environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coordinate contractors, manage budgets and schedules, uphold WHS standards, and ensure delivery excellence from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction delivery from scoping through to handover and defects liability
- Oversee cost control, invoicing, forecasting, and subcontractor claims
- Prepare and manage contracts and coordinate procurement and trades
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path tracking
- Uphold rigorous WHS, environmental, and compliance standards
- Lead site inspections, client meetings, and project reporting
- Manage risk, change, and escalation processes professionally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
- Coach and support delivery teams, ensuring alignment with BGIS values
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in construction project delivery (data centre or mission-critical environments preferred)
- Qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related trade
- Strong background in contract administration, project lifecycle management, and WHS compliance
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and digital reporting tools
- WHS White Card (required); post-trade or postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
