The Opportunity
As a Commercial Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end tendering process, from opportunity identification through to bid submission. You’ll ensure documentation accuracy, stakeholder engagement, and timely delivery of proposals, all while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute Client ITT (Invitation to Tender) documents to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate input from internal departments and external consultants.
- Prepare, format, and submit proposals and supporting documentation.
- Manage vendor/supplier and customer prequalification submissions.
- Maintain opportunity and tender tracking in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Assist with cost estimation, pricing strategies, and subcontractor quotations.
- Respond to client queries and requests for information.
- Support continuous improvement of commercial processes.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of business case studies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Certificate IV (preferred, not mandatory).
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years in commercial administration or bid coordination (preferred).
- Strong understanding of contracts and commercial practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe; Dynamics 365 experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism.
- Industry experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, Resources, or Construction is advantageous.
