About The Opportunity The Care Services Assistant plays a pivotal frontline carer role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfilment through the delivery of person-centred care and support according to needs and preferences of each resident in everyday practice. Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals. Working Hours AM: 7:00 - 13:30 PM: 16:00 - 19:00 Your responsibilities will be to provide care and support aligned with residents’ preferred daily routines with a strong focus on:

• Meal choices and individual nutrition
• Consideration of allergies and food intolerances
• Enhancing the overall dining experience
• Assist residents with meal selection and meal timing preferences
• Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences
• Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes
• Use empathy and kindness to foster a positive dining experience
• Promote resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect
• Prepare and maintain dining experience areas and provide meal service to meet individual resident choices
• Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required
• Assist with quality food preparation in accordance with the Food Safety Plan, Bolton Clarke Food Standards and Dining Framework
• Assist with maintaining kitchen stock supplies as required

About You The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated customer service skills
• A compassionate and caring attitude
• Previous hospitality and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
