The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remedial Engineer/ Project Manager to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in building diagnostics, defect investigation, and remedial engineering.
You will support senior engineers and contribute to a variety of projects involving building assessments, defect analysis, and remedial solutions, while gaining hands-on experience across all project stages. The candidate will respond to our Queensland Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Site investigations, inspections, and diagnosis of building defects
- Preparation of technical reports, specifications, and documentation
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets
- Work collaboratively with senior engineers and project teams
- Attend site visits and meetings with clients and contractors
- Assist in supervising contractors during remedial works/ Project Management
- Contribute to building defect inspections and condition assessments
- Maintain and develop client relationships under guidance
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related field)
- 1–5 years of experience in the construction or engineering industry (preferred)
- Interest or exposure to remedial engineering, building defects, or construction forensics
- Basic understanding of building materials, construction methods, and defect identification
- Familiarity with the Building Code of Australia and relevant standards (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and support multiple projects
- Willingness to undertake site inspections (including physical work)
- Team-oriented, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn

- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent/ Hybrid position available- Work sometimes on our office in Gold Coast
