About The Role Due to an internal promotion, we are now on the hunt for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our national Finance team, based at our Arundel (QLD) Head Office. Reporting to the CFO, this role leads Buildsafe’s domestic procurement function, with oversight across purchasing, vendor and contract management, facilities coordination, insurance administration, and team leadership. It’s a key leadership role with influence across the business; balancing strategy and execution to ensure our operations are cost-effective, efficient, and scalable. Here's An Overview Of What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the end-to-end purchasing process for the Buildsafe Group
• Oversee vendor management, contract reviews, and procurement compliance
• Support facilities maintenance and insurance administration across branches
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement workflows and supplier performance
• Manage budgets, approvals, reporting, and price accuracy in collaboration with Finance
• Provide support to the Accounts Payable function (purchase orders, bill coding, etc.)
• Foster a high-performance culture within a small but agile team
• Represent Buildsafe with integrity, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset

About You

• 3+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
• Proven ability to negotiate, manage suppliers, and improve procurement systems
• Exposure to facilities/property management and insurance administration (preferred)
• Strong skills in Excel and procurement platforms (We use Netsuite, and an Internal software: Training to be provided)
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• A confident leader and team player with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to juggle competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
