This role is central to coordinating patients on the gastroenterology elective waitlist, working closely with nursing, medical, and administrative colleagues. The Unit provides a wide range of services including inpatient care, consulting, endoscopic procedures, and specialist clinics for viral hepatitis, liver disease, IBD, inherited gastrointestinal cancers, and complex gastrointestinal disorders. We also deliver clinics, support, and follow‑up for participants in the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. As Liaison Nurse, you’ll play a key part in ensuring patients receive timely access to these vital services while enjoying the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively in a supportive environment.
