As the Manager Strategic Partnerships you’ll be a strategic leader, driving financial sustainability by maximizing revenue opportunities in line with the City’s Event Strategy. You’ll ensure strong returns on investment, manage risks in key partnerships, and elevate Perth’s reputation as a premier event destination. Be at the forefront of shaping a vibrant, dynamic city for the community and visitors alike! Reporting to the Alliance Manager City Events, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Drive targeted partnership strategies to generate sponsorship leads and reinforce Perth’s status as a top event destination.
- Leverage market knowledge and networking to build and maintain a continuous prospect pipeline.
- Lead the Partnerships Team in fostering strong relationships to drive revenue and secure long-term agreements.
- Oversee day-to-day management of partners, ensuring optimal activation and benefit leverage.
About You To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Extensive experience and results in leading a team to develop and execute significant event, partnership, fundraising and/or sponsorship programs and projects;
- Superior relationship management skills with an extensive established network; and
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to write succinct proposals and reports for Council and City's CEO.
