Sports Program Administration Officer/Lab Technician

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team at MacKillop Catholic College. In 2023, we introduced Grades 11 and 12, and our student numbers continue to grow as we expand our senior program into 2026. To support this growth, we are seeking two additional support staff to join our team. Sports Program Administration Officer: Term Time Only - Full-time About the role:

• Coordinate and administer the college’s sports programs across all year levels.
• Support planning and delivery of inter-school competitions, training schedules, and sporting events.
• Maintain accurate records, registrations, and compliance requirements for all sports activities.
• Liaise with staff, students, parents, and external sporting bodies to ensure smooth program operations.
• Promote student participation and engagement in sports within a Catholic learning environment.

About you:

• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in sports program coordination or event management (school or community setting desirable).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
• Competence in using technology and systems to streamline processes.

Laboratory Technician: Term Time Only - Full-time About the role:

• Provide technical support for science laboratories across all secondary year levels.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, chemicals, and resources for practical classes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist teaching staff with laboratory setup and demonstrations.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and engaging learning environment for students.

About you:

• Qualifications or experience in laboratory operations or science support.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and chemical handling protocols.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and support student learning experiences.
• Competence in using technology for inventory and compliance management.
• Commitment to Catholic Education values and principles.
