And, as we continue to grow, we're on the hunt for a Desktop Support Officer (Education) to join our team to deliver high-quality, onsite technical support in Darwin. Your role will be to provide friendly and knowledgeable support to educational users with a positive, can-do attitude. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide array of technology including desktop computers, tablets, interactive whiteboards, audio-visual equipment, and network infrastructure, ensuring seamless day-to-day technology operations within educational environments. RequirementsWhat You'll Do:

• Providing prompt and effective technical support to educators, students, and staff within educational facilities
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and audio-visual equipment specific to educational needs
• Supporting and troubleshooting issues related to classroom technology, networking, and user devices
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with end-users, fostering a friendly and supportive environment
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve processes for efficient support delivery
• Documenting technical procedures and solutions accurately
• Taking ownership of hardware and software issues, liaising with external vendors and third-party service providers as needed
• Actively seeking feedback to continuously improve support services
• Ensuring compliance with relevant education sector policies and standards

What You'll Bring:

• Passion for delivering excellent customer service, particularly in an educational setting
• Strong interest and aptitude in technology, with the willingness to learn new tools and systems relevant to education
• Effective troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suited to diverse audiences including educators and students
• Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving mindset
• Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the education environment, including occasional after-hours support
• Previous experience supporting technology in education is highly regarded
