Are you a civil designer or architectural draftsperson ready to explore a new direction? We are seeking a designer/draftsperson interested in specialising in traffic engineering, road safety, and transport planning for both public realm and private development projects.

This is your chance to work on projects that shape not just roads, networks and standalone sites, but entire communities — creating safer, smarter transport solutions while helping bring developments to life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the drafting and design team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of traffic engineering drawings and documentation.
• Oversee the preparation of concept plans, detailed design drawings, vehicle swept path assessments, and traffic control plans for a wide variety of projects including new and upgraded road network designs, car and bicycle parking areas, commercial loading facilities and more.
• Coordinate directly with project engineers and planners to translate technical requirements into accurate and practical designs.
• Maintain and improve CAD standards, templates, and drafting procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.
• Manage drawing registers, document control systems, and version control to support compliance and traceability.
• Review and quality-check drawings before issue to ensure technical accuracy and presentation standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is also desirable, but not essential).
• Attention to detail and a strong eye for layout, presentation, and technical accuracy.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches and translate them into clear, legible drawings.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Prior experience in a civil, architectural or traffic environment is desirable but not essential.
• Rights to live and work permanently in Adelaide.
