About the Role

You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Infrastructure and Open Space Leadership team to ensure efficient departmental operations

Coordinate and strengthen administrative business functions to support effective service delivery and meet statutory obligations

What You’ll deliver

  • Provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the Leadership Team
  • Coordinate meetings, correspondence, and information using Council systems
  • Support Infrastructure and Open Space teams through coordinated business functions
  • Supervise and support development of direct reports ensure high-quality administrative and customer service outcomes
  • Prepare Council reports, briefing papers, contract documentation, and correspondence
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on departmental KPIs and performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Support Officers to improve processes and share knowledge
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organisational objectives

What You’ll Bring

  • Completion of secondary education.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an administrative role with a focus on preparing reports, initiating continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising, supporting and developing staff.
  • Experience working in an environment dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with relevant budgeting techniques. [Relevant experience level]
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
