The Opportunity
Based in Malaga, WA, the Senior Contracts Advisor is a newly created role aimed at providing expert guidance and support with all aspects of contract management.
Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager – Municipal, you will review, oversee, and manage contract agreements, ensure contractual compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and align with company policies whilst mitigating risks appropriately.
- Provide expert guidance on contract negotiation, development, and implementation.
- Contract administration, managing price adjustments and variations, and resolving disputes.
- Contract obligation and compliance evaluations, and strategy recommendations to enhance outcomes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the principles and practices of commercial negotiation and have experience in managing the full contract lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, understand, and communicate contractual information.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and analysing contractual performance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-level negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and lead action plans for tenders and contract implementations, and transitions.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, commerce or related disciplines.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to focus on achieving effective outcomes.
- Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes.
