About The Roles We’re hiring Trainee Soil and Concrete Technicians at our Darwin Lab. In this role, you’ll test soil and concrete samples, use cool instruments and gear, and work both in the lab and out on real construction sites. If you’re keen on hands-on work and looking to build a long-term career, this role could be for you. After your initial training, you’ll split your time between construction sites and the lab—perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and taking on physical challenges. What’s In It For You

• Trainee Wages: Pay Rate: $20 - $27 per hour (starting at $20 for trainees aged 18 years, with the pay rate increasing by age and trainee classification, in line with the Award). Junior trainees (under 21) are paid at the applicable Award junior rate, while adult trainees receive $27/hr.

• Traineeship: Obtain Cert III or Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques with full training and support provided
• Get paid while you train, plus earn around $3,000-$4,200 in additional incentives throughout Traineeship (amounts may vary).

What We’re Looking For:

• Must have current drivers licence (Manual preferred)
• White card needed (or willingness to obtain one quickly)
• Applicants must have ongoing unrestricted work rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
• Full training provided - ideal for those new to the industry or with construction experience but no formal qualification.
