Podcast Producer and Content Creator

This is not a regular 9-to-5 role; it’s a job for someone who wants to produce and publish world-class content. A job where the show comes first.

We’re looking for a Podcast Producer and Content Creator to join our team and lead the development and management of digital content across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Podcast Apps.

You'll be the driving force behind the Rugby Unity podcast—the fastest growing podcast in the Rugby world. Featuring Eddie Jones, David Pembroke and Ewen McKenzie, you will work with best-in-class talent and will lead the technical and creative production of the show.

From planning to production, editing to promotion you will be expected to solve problems, initiate new ideas and make things happen, every single day. As well as your podcasting duties, you'll create short-form videos, graphics and other high-quality content that engages and grows our global audience. You’ll need to be organised, have a keen eye for detail, and ideally bring experience in project management. You will value data and utilise it to create insights into our valued audience.

You will work with a tight knit team, including host David Pembroke, to grow our audience and find unique and exciting ways to support the creation of our community. 

What You'll Be Doing:

Producing and managing our flagship Rugby Unity podcast, including:

Coming up with editorial ideas:

• Managing the podcast schedule.
• Booking guests.
• Recording in-studio video and audio.
• Editing video and audio.
• Copywriting.
• Publishing.

Creating engaging video content and visuals across digital platforms.

Management of social media platforms:

• Crafting content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand.
• Collaborating with a creative, passionate team to bring fresh ideas to life.
• Staying on top of trends and helping shape our digital strategy.

What We're Looking For:

• An energetic, can-do type that has a track-record in producing successful and impactful podcasts.
• A content all-rounder with a flair for storytelling and visual creativity.
• Experience in video editing, podcast production, and social media content.
• Someone who’s organised, collaborative, and full of initiative.
• A showrunner with a passion for sport, ideally Rugby Union.
• Highly capable using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.

A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the right candidate, based on knowledge and experience, and we are flexible with an appropriate start date.
