Industrial Estimator

About The Opportunity CV Electrical Construction is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Estimator to join our growing team based at our Hendra Head Office. You’ll work across major projects in the water and wastewater sector—including treatment plants, pump stations, and reservoirs—and may also contribute to projects in power and energy, food and beverage, and manufacturing. This role is ideal for a technically minded estimator with a strong electrical background who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys the challenge of winning work. The Role As part of our Estimating Team, you will:

• Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates and tender submissions
• Identify risks and opportunities throughout the estimating process
• Source and manage supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Develop clear, competitive client submissions
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Contribute to business development and pursuit of new project opportunities

A Bit About You You’re commercially astute, technically strong, and relationship-driven. You’ll bring:

• Electrical trade or engineering qualifications
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (10+ years in water infrastructure highly regarded)
• Proven success in preparing high-quality construction and design/build estimates
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, site logistics, and safety requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• A collaborative approach and commitment to quality outcomes
• Commercial acumen and excellent attention to detail
