The Team Education Regulation provides support for the Office of the Education Registrar (OER), Non-government Schools Registration Board (NGSRB), Teachers Registration Board (TRB) and the Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification Board (TASC). The TRB, TASC, the OER, and the NGSRB provide critical regulatory oversight and support services to education in Tasmania. They provide this support for all education sectors, including government schools, independent schools, Catholic schools and some components of the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Education Regulation provides centralised policy, governance (including secretariat) supports to the offices and the Boards. Key stakeholders include Board Chairs, Board Members and senior leadership across the Education Regulators as well as the Minister for Education. About The Role The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating priority projects that support Education Regulation’s strategic direction. This includes implementing recommendations from the Deloitte exam review, improving functions within TASC, and contributing to the development of a strategic plan to unify education regulatory bodies. The role requires strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver outcomes within defined timeframes and resources. The incumbent will contribute to policy development and provide strategic advice to support regulatory reform. We are offering
