Mount St Patrick College, Murwillumbah Mount St Patrick College is a co-educational Secondary College operating within the system administered by the Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools. It was opened in 1926 by the Presentation Sisters and was administered and staffed by them until 1989 and maintains a strong sense of identity from its rich history. All staff, support and teaching, play an important role in delivering services which maintain the total development of its pupils, spiritually, intellectually, physically, morally, socially, emotionally and culturally and through a sound education based on Christian, and especially Catholic, principles. This contributes to positive student learning and wellbeing outcomes, allowing every student to achieve the fullness of life. - Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- Have the ability to handle tasks with a high degree of confidentiality
- Have a working knowledge of WH&S and equity in employment and a demonstrated capacity to apply related principles and policies
- Comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Selection Criteria -
- Provide evidence of well-developed interpersonal, communication, administrative and office skills with an ability to deal tactfully, confidently and effectively with people at all levels
- Capacity to show initiative and demonstrate effective time management, organisational and planning skills with an ability to meet pressing deadlines and competing priorities
- Highly developed skills in a range of Microsoft and Google applications with willingness and ability to learn new systems
- Current First Aid or willingness to obtain and use
- Previous experience in a school environment and/or with school based applications and platforms would be desirable
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a collaborative and helpful team
