About the role

As our Key Account Manager, you will focus your sales and relationship management experience into driving sales across our retail channels, identifying prospects within existing and new channels, making introductions and owning the sales process. This role brings with it autonomy to truly own your categories, driving the sales strategy and execution.

Meet your new team

Our retail Sales team leads the growth of our business, working collaboratively with the product development, supply chain and marketing teams to bring new, innovative and in-demand products to the market. With many experienced BDM's, Account Managers and Sales Administrators, you'll be joining a highly motivated, fun and collegiate team that shares ideas, network relationships, challenges and success, and leverage insights and analytics to drive sales growth.

Based on site at our Melbourne Airport Business Park head office, this new career opportunity will also see you travelling interstate as required.

How you will make an impact

As our Key Account Manager, you will focus your efforts to expand our sales and market offering across product categories, introducing new brands and products to the market. This will see you:

  • drive sales and success with our retail channels, developing a pipeline and managing all sales activity to achieve targets and objectives.
  • identify and engage new national retail and independent sales channels.
  • network, maintaining close working relationships with all clients to provide mutual value.
  • together with our field account management teams; support the success of your clients/channels including for promotional campaigns.
  • partner with demand planners in S&OP meetings to accurately forecast your stock orders and sales.
  • work methodically and pragmatically to manage your activity and metrics.

The successful candidate

Enabling your success is your enthusiasm and energy, understanding the value of collaboration and working in a dynamic team to drive sales and customer success. Additionally, you will:

  • be a sales and relationship management champion, demonstrating growing sales across your channels and accounts across Australia within the retail sector.
  • have successfully met and exceeded set targets through networking and building relationships with buying teams across retail channels.
  • have worked with product and marketing teams and be skilled in quickly understanding the opportunity for new products and how to bring them to market.
  • be highly organised with exceptional call, activity planning, and presentation skills.
  • understand and enjoy the benefits of working onsite, sharing challenges, ideas and wins with a supportive team.
  • be a self-starter, driven and ambitious to succeed.
