About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, commercially minded Account Manager to join our team at Droppoint. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in relationship management, sales, and business development, with a passion for helping clients achieve more. You will play a key role in growing Droppoint’s footprint by deepening relationships within our existing client base while also identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities.

As an Account Manager at Droppoint, you will work with established clients to help them gain maximum value from our solutions, nurturing long-term partnerships that drive increased adoption, service utilisation, and account growth. In parallel, you will proactively pursue new clients, uncover emerging needs, and introduce Droppoint’s services to expand our market presence.

This role requires a balance of strategic account management and proactive sales activity. You will identify and shape growth opportunities, manage a healthy pipeline, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Success in this role requires comfort in a dynamic environment, strong commercial acumen, and confidence in using data to inform decisions and drive results.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop tailored strategies for each client to maximise their investment in Droppoint’s solutions and align with their unique goals.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and convert growth opportunities within existing accounts through strategic upselling, cross selling, and value led conversations.
  • Drive new business development, including sourcing opportunities, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, conducting discovery, presenting solutions, and progressing prospects through the full sales lifecycle.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial lead engagement through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building trust, strengthening relationships, and managing client expectations effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, product, service delivery, finance, and marketing) to ensure solutions are implemented smoothly and client feedback is actioned promptly.
  • Track and analyse usage, performance, and behavioural data to monitor account health and identify new opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Provide regular reporting to management on client satisfaction, pipeline progress, sales performance, and areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across both existing client organisations and new business prospects.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in account management or a commercial client-focused role (2–5 years), ideally in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of relationship management, growth strategies, and account development.
  • Demonstrated sales capability, including confidence in identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, and influencing client decisions to drive revenue growth.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities to drive business outcomes.
  • A passion for building relationships and achieving client success.
  • Alignment with Droppoint’s values:
  • We solve problems, not symptoms
  • We leverage expertise
  • We do what we say
  • Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

Benefits for You

  • Competitive commission structure.
  • Flexible working opportunities and work-life balance.
  • Referral, reward, and recognition programs.
  • A supportive team environment and work atmosphere.
  • Professional development programs.
