Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Business AnalystContract: 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension

Location: Sydney (Central Business District / North Sydney)

Working pattern: Hybrid

Day rate: Competitive rate

Start: ASAP

Client: Microsoft implementation partner

About the role

  • Partner with operations leadership across transport and warehouse functions to understand processes and challenges.
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews, then convert findings into clear, structured requirements and process documentation.
  • Map business requirements to standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations capabilities in Transportation Management and Warehouse Management, distinguishing standard functionality from required customisation.
  • Produce Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, and process flow diagrams; perform fit–gap analysis and recommend optimised solutions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Software Developers to ensure requirements are delivered as designed.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing, end-user training, change management, and post-implementation support aligned to business objectives.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated business analysis experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, ideally across Transportation Management and Warehouse Management in logistics or supply chain programmes.
  • Strong facilitation skills for workshops and interviews, advanced process-mapping capability, and the ability to produce clear Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements Documents.
  • Proven experience performing fit–gap analysis and delivering outcomes in a partner environment, with confidence across User Acceptance Testing, training, and change management.
