Job Description

Posted on: May 9, 2026

About ElectraNet ElectraNet builds, owns, operates and maintains the high voltage electricity transmission network which delivers the energy South Australians rely on to power our homes, businesses and communities. Our employees describe our culture as one that is supportive, inclusive, and community-oriented, where we genuinely want each other to succeed. The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a People Support Coordinator to join our People Team within the Capability division. Working under general supervision, you will provide high‑quality, service‑focused HR coordination and administrative support across a broad range of people‑related activities. This role is central to our evolving People Services model and is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, improving processes and building strong foundations in human resources. You will support the People Partnering team with day‑to‑day operations while developing practical exposure to HR systems, reporting, employee lifecycle activities and people projects. Key Focus Areas Include

  • Be a first point of contact for routine people‑related enquiries, triaging and escalating as required
  • Coordinating end‑to‑end HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, variations and off‑boarding
  • Maintaining accurate people/position data and supporting basic HR reporting
  • Contributing to process improvement, systems efficiency and people‑related projects

About You You’re someone who enjoys working in a service‑oriented role, takes pride in accuracy and consistency, and is curious about how good people practices support the wider business. You Will Bring

  • Exposure to HR or people operations in a practical working environment, or transferable experience aligned to this work
  • Strong systems capability and confidence working with HR or enterprise systems (training can be provided)
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working
  • Well‑developed organisation, communication and prioritisation skills
  • A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential and sensitive information

We welcome applications from candidates who may be early in their HR career, returning to the workforce, or working towards relevant qualifications. At ElectraNet, we recognise that potential extends beyond meeting every requirement. If this role aligns with your interests and capabilities, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick every box. Employee Benefits ElectraNet is committed to empowering our people and recognising their contribution with a competitive remuneration package of $99,600 + 12% superannuation + bonus (up to 15% of package). In addition, we are proud to offer:

  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, including part‑time options (by agreement)
  • 5 weeks annual leave per year
  • 15 days personal/carers leave per year (plus an additional 5 days on first day upon starting with the organisation)
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave
  • Additional paid volunteering and office closure leave
  • Flexibility to utilise public holiday leave entitlements for other cultural celebrations
  • Employee Assistance Program for your personal and professional wellbeing
