About The Role In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing strategies to optimise our operations and enhance our service delivery. Reporting to the CEO, you'll work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for growth, forge strong relationships with clients, and ensure our operations align with our vision of being an industry leader. Key Responsibilities

• Translating strategy into whole-of-business actionable steps for growth, and establishing metrics to track progress
• Helping lead day to day business operations, including driving employee productivity, and tracking of financial performance
• Working with operations, project management and procurement teams teams to ensure a high standard of service delivery to customers
• Overseeing quality, safety, environment and compliance processes
• Project management of industrial Wi-Fi, digital radio and related projects
• Assist in the recruitment of new employees
• Assist with the preparation of customer quotes, proposals and tender submissions
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Help drive the growth and outreach efforts of Acubis
• Engage with the marketing team to plan and implement marketing and communications activities

• Position Type: Permanent - Full Time
• Reports To: CEO
• Start Date: flexible
• Location: prefer Mackay-based (hybrid: office and WFH) but would consider Newcastle-based for the right candidate
• Salary: competitive/negotiable

• A degree or certificate in a relevant technical or business field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience as a leader in a technology business
• Experience in the mining, heavy industry or similar sectors
• An entrepreneurial approach and a passion to grow an Australian technology business. 
• A strong focus on being a ‘team' player, recognising that success only occurs when we all come together. 
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements and growth initiatives
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders
• A proactive and innovative mindset, ready to challenge the status quo

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the telecommunications industry
• Experience leading engineering and/or technician teams
• A history of taking responsibility for a significant profit and loss ledger. 
• A passion for technology and technical innovation. 
• Extensive experience with modern cloud-based collaboration, business management and record keeping environments.
