Electrical Project Engineer

The Company

Based in Brisbane this national D&C business has a long and sustained history of working within the water industry providing turnkey electrical and control systems solutions. They are part of a larger organisation and have the capability to provide engineering design, switchboard manufacturing, systems integration, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance and support.

The Role

A demanding and multi-skilled role, the Electrical Project Engineer will take ownership of allocated projects, ensuring full stakeholder engagement and successful delivery of projects in line with cost, timeline and client expectations.

• Manage project schedules, RFI’s, budgets, supply chain, full documentation and reporting.
• Design review and modification to resolve technical issues, acting as liaison between clients, engineers and production teams.
• Work packs, ITP’s, FAT & SAT witnessing and documentation.
• Broad range of projects so work is varied and provides exposure to different technologies.
• Primarily based in Brisbane, occasional trips to site may be required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Track record as an Electrical Project Engineer or Electrical Engineer in a D&C Environment.
• Experience in any industrial environment i.e. water, manufacturing, FMCG, utilities or resources.
• Strong technical skills, background in electrical design – AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication with ability to liaise with all internal and external parties.
• Ability to multi-task and above all take ownership of projects through to conclusion.
