Job Description We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Patient Service Centre Manager based at Epworth Geelong, Waurn Ponds. The Patient Service Centre Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of all administrative functions that support the patient journey. The role ensures that admission, booking, pre-admission, inpatient administration, discharge, and billing processes are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with legislative, financial, and accreditation requirements. This position plays a key part in organisational performance by managing revenue-related processes, maintaining compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, and actively participating in continuous improvement and risk management. You will make an impact by-

  • delivering a seamless, patient-centred administrative experience that supports exceptional clinical care.
  • driving high standards of customer service, optimising workflows, ensuring accurate and timely patient information management.
  • leading the Patient Services team to uphold Epworth values and service excellence standards.
  • effectively managing and delivering process changes and digital transformation initiatives.
  • establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and effective communication.

You will be accountable for the effective management of-

  • seamless and timely patient pre-admission, admission and discharge.
  • accurate health fund eligibility checks, informed financial consent, patient payments, billing quality, and overall data integrity.
  • effective financial and performance management to budget and to agreed outcomes.
  • a positive, collaborative and professional team culture supporting departments across the organisation.
