Job Description At Epworth Geelong in Waurn Ponds, you can choose to work full-time or part-time in the ICU, providing evidence-based nursing care for a complex patient cohort. You will care for patients across cardiovascular, neurosurgery, bariatric, complex surgical and medical cases. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager you will be part of a respectful and supportive ICU team that enjoys challenges and has high levels of job satisfaction. You will make an impact by-
- Evaluating and monitoring your patient’s progress
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in your patient’s medical condition
- Caring for patient’s needs throughout their recovery in the ICU
- Creating and implementing effective care plans
- Being the information conduit between doctors, patients and patient’s families

Focused on positive patient outcomes you are professional, compassionate and empathetic in your personal conduct. Holding confidence in your own abilities and a willingness to learn, you can work autonomously and show initiative to identify tested or innovative patient-centric solutions. Requirements Position Description Inherent Requirements You will have-
- ICU Nursing experience
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Post graduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing
- Solid understanding of health information structures and technology
- Availability to work day and night shifts including on-call participation

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $71,622 - $100,564 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
