What’s the gist?
We're on the hunt for a retail superstar to lead our Carlton House showroom, one of our architecturally-led spaces where customers come to experience our products and brand in person.
As Showroom Manager, you're a hands-on retail leader who owns the day-to-day performance of the store: the sales, the service, the team, and the experience on the floor. You're the kind of person who notices when a cushion is out of place, who knows your regulars by name, and who gets a genuine kick out of helping a customer find the right sofa for their living room.
Reporting to the National Retail & Trade Manager, you'll lead the Carlton House team to hit sales targets, deliver a retail experience that feels distinctly Eva, and act as the key link between the showroom floor and HQ. It's a people-first, detail-obsessed role with real commercial accountability. What the role looks like:
- Own the day-to-day running of the Carlton House showroom from sales, operations, and stock takes, while keeping our visual merchandising and in-store experience consistent and considered.
- Hit sales targets and report on daily performance to department leads.
- Work closely with our other Showroom Managers to share learnings and maintain a consistent brand experience across locations.
- Lead the team in delivering thoughtful, high-touch customer service that guides Eva customers through their purchase journey, from first walk-in to final decision.
- Support customers with the practical side of buying: stock checks, fabric and colour guidance, delivery timeframes, and quotes where relevant.
- Bring in-store campaigns, promotions, and product displays to life on the showroom floor.
- Hire, onboard, and train the Carlton House retail team to deliver an experience that feels distinctly Eva.
- Act as the main link between the Carlton House team and HQ, routing customer enquiries to the Customer Support team and feeding back insights on customer feedback, in-store trends, and the overall showroom experience.
- Pitch in with press visits, photography, content creation, and social where needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-years experience working in retail or sales
- Experience holding management or leadership roles

- Passionate about both creating exceptional customer experiences and hitting sales KPI
- A love for retail and working with customers as a friendly guide for their homes
- Highly competent in POS software (Shopify a plus) and G-Suite apps such as Google Docs, Sheets and Gmail
Nice to haves:
- Experience working in business with both online and ‘in-store’ channels
- Strong understanding customer journey and consumer behaviour
- Must be able to work weekends and public holidays
