We partner with developers, designers, and building consultants to tailor networks for diverse development types, including residential and commercial spaces, across greenfield and brownfield projects nationwide. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fiber Design Engineer based in the Greater Perth Area. The Fiber Design Engineer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and refining fibre network design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) tools. Other tasks include collaborating with construction and technical teams, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, addressing design challenges, and supporting the full development lifecycle from initial concept to implementation. The role requires involvement in quality assurance, troubleshooting, and overseeing compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications

  • Strong skills and experience in Design Engineering, Product Design, and applying design principles to telecommunications infrastructure
  • Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, and the ability to create or modify technical drawings with precision and accuracy
  • Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver efficient solutions that align with project goals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of local safety and regulatory standards in the telecommunications industry
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline
  • Experience in fibre optic network design and construction (preferred)
