Role overview
The Marketing Assistant & Partnerships role supports the growth of Filtered Beauty through relationship-led marketing initiatives, with a focus on influencers, ambassadors, affiliates, PR, and brand partnerships. In addition to marketing support, this role contributes to the smooth day-to-day running of the business by managing customer enquiries, order fulfilment processes, Shopify website support, and wholesale enquiries. Working closely with the General Manager, the Marketing Assistant & Partnerships will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks across marketing and operations in a fast-growing environment.
Responsibilities:Influencer, ambassador & affiliate management
- Oversee influencer partnerships: outreach, negotiation, briefs, tracking and performance reporting.
- Grow and manage our affiliate network, ensuring clear communication, strong brand alignment, and incentives.
- Identify and recruit new ambassadors that align with our values and goals.
PR & events
- Lead PR outreach across beauty, wellness, and lifestyle media.
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, in-house events, and partnerships.
- Manage timelines, creative assets, and cross-functional communication to ensure smooth execution.
Customer service and operational support
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all daily orders are processed and fulfilled efficiently each morning.
- Provide support with website queries and updates within Shopify.
Wholesale support & development
- Manage and respond to wholesale enquiries from initial contact through to onboarding.
- Maintain and grow our stockist database within the beauty and hair industry (prospecting, outreach, follow-ups, and record-keeping).
General administration
- Support the General Manager with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, partnerships, or a similar role is preferred.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment; eager to learn and take initiative.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Knowledge of Shopify is a plus.
