Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Engineer based in the Greater Brisbane Area. The Senior Engineer will oversee planning, design, and execution of civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising engineering teams, managing budgets and schedules, conducting risk assessments, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. The role demands effective problem-solving and leadership, along with ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet agreed specifications. Qualifications

  • Technical expertise in civil engineering concepts, including pipeline construction, roadworks, tunneling, and bulk earthworks
  • Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor engineering teams
  • Proven abilities in quality assurance, safety compliance, and risk assessment
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in client and contractor coordination
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and project management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering within the civil construction industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines
