  • The HR Advisor plays a central role in providing trusted, people-focused HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle by owning both the professional responsibilities and the operational execution of all HR processes. This role ensures HR programs, policies and initiatives are not only designed but also implemented effectively and consistently across the business.

  • Manage employment contracts, variations, probation reviews, and separation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards, company policies, and governance requirements.
  • Monitor employment risk and support fair, consistent workplace practices.

Performance & Career Development

  • Support performance management processes including goal setting, review cycles, feedback, and PIP administration.
  • Advise managers on probation management, performance concerns, and development planning.
  • Support promotion processes, career pathways, and development assessments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the performance framework.

Workforce Planning & Talent Strategy

  • Support workforce planning, critical role identification, and talent segmentation.
  • Assist in succession planning, HiPo management, and talent pipeline development.
  • Contribute to retention strategies and organisational capability planning.

  • Contribute to training framework design and learning roadmap execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and development outcomes.

  • Promote employee wellbeing initiatives including EAP and safety training.

  • Administer statutory and supplementary benefits programs.
  • Provide support on remuneration, flexible benefits, and expatriate-related matters.
  • Ensure benefits compliance and employee query resolution.

Employee Experience, Culture & DEI

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning.
  • Contribute to culture-building activities and internal communications.
  • Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives and related programs.

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a broad generalist or HR Advisor capacity with exposure to multiple HR functions.
  • Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and WHS obligations, with demonstrated ability to apply legislation in practical workplace scenarios.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, organise workload, and work autonomously in a dynamic business environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-focused, with a hands-on approach and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident working autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative, high-performing HR team.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels, including the ability to influence and advise managers on people-related matters.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience within a large, well-established organisation with exposure to multiple HR modules (e.g., ER, performance, talent, operations) will be highly regarded.
  • Applicants must have full working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
